Virtual Reality Visual Field Testing

Standard visual field testing has been replaced with a virtual reality based system. Patients sit comfortably while the test adapts to their individual response speed, improving both accuracy and patient experience.

This advanced imaging provides exceptionally detailed visualization of the optic nerve and retina, including blood flow through multiple layers of the eye, without the need for injectable dyes. Emerging research suggests that subtle changes in vascular patterns around the optic nerve may be detectable up to 18 months before measurable damage occurs, allowing for earlier intervention and better preservation of vision.
